Essential Job Functions
  • Study Salesforce.com capabilities as needed to meet business requirements, technical spec development, provide gap analysis, and recommendations.

Microsoft Exchange Administrator under the direction of management responsible for enhancing and managing enterprise-wide Exchange 2007 clustered messaging environment and related systems in a WAN, international, 24x7 environment. DataDirect is currently seeking an experienced testing professional to help ensure quality product for our customers. This is an opportunity to work with high performance RAID systems in a development environment. This is a hands-on role that will allow you to develop tests for new features, improve our existing processes and benchmark the system under various conditions. This is a challenging role that will require creative testing and validation of our products.

This position will be located in Columbia, Maryland

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter.

Minimum requirements are:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proven scripting experience in Unix, Perl, Python or other scripting languages
- Knowledge of RAID and/or large storage systems
- Knowledge of source code repositories and bug tracking databases.

The responsibilities of this position include:
- Interact with the development team to develop test plans
- Write test plans which will be reviewed by both DVT and development
- Write automated test scripts
- Execute and report the status of the tests
- Report issues and verify them as they are resolved

DataDirect is currently seeking experienced storage professionals to handle sales and promotion DDN's Web Object Scaler next generation object storage product. WOS is a sophisticated cloud-based file storage technology that radically simplifies and improves how content is stored, distributed, and accessed across multiple geographically dispersed sites. From a single, easy-to-use management interface, you can build a global storage cloud that scales simply and limitlessly. The product has been 100% developed within DDN and delivers industry-leading capability to high-growth content storage organizations. This role is ideally filled out of our Los Angeles or Bay Area, CA offices - however, work-from-home scenarios will also considered all around the US.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage existing worldwide WOS pipeline business and develop new prospect base and partner network
- Provide mid-high level technical overview of the WOS platform and comparative benefits
- Provide consultative sales support for regional DDN account management
- Manage and track WOS revenue pipeline
- This position requires significant travel (over 40%) both domestically and possibly internationally

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has:
- 5+ Years of relevant field sales / business development experience with data center technology
- Successful history of new customer harvesting and strategic partnership development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical fluency with NAS, Object Storage and Content Distribution Network technology.
- The ability to operate reasonably autonomously, without always needing pre-sales support.

Minimum Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent
